Dear Com. Gangadharan,
You have placed a story for discussion. I do not find anything new, except
the words technicalities for the dismissal of SLPs filed by LIC in the
Supreme Court on 08-08-2013.
It is known to one and all that the L I C tried to file one SLP before the dismissal
of the REVIEW PETETION in the Jaipur High Court is pending for decision.
The Supreme Court dismissed that SLP and advised the Jaipur High Court
to take a decision on the L I C review petition with in 3 months of time.
The review petition is dismissed by the Jaipur High Court.
The LIC with the guidance of their legal luminaries filed SLPs for the 2nd time
in the Supreme court.
The Supreme Court on the request of LIC counsel issued interim orders on
14-11-2011 and it was clarified on 17-10-2012. The L I C could not honour
the orders of the Supreme court.
As usual, the L I C 2nd SLP stands dismissed on 08-08-2013. The advisers
of L I C do not know the technical grounds at the time of their advice!
Anyhow, the pensioners could get what is legitimately due to them from a long
time. Thanks to Shri K M L Aasthana. All the pensioners are indebted to
AIRIEF. We do not know what has happened to their advisers.
With warm Greetings,
L S R KRISHNA RAO
