I have a copy of the letter written by  LIC Retd class 1 officers Association addressed to LIC  Chairman on 19-05-2010 immediately after Rajasthan HC judgment, main points of which are as follows:-

1. Court has upheld discrimination in the matter of DR that there can be no different basis of DA or the benefit.  2. Board Resolution dated 24-11-2001 covers the issue of automatic up gradation of pension. Also by allowing writ petition No. 654/2007 of Asthana and if implemented two major demands would be implemented satisfactorily.

Hence they have appealed to Chairman not to go on appeal but implement the order of Rajasthan HC.  Since the appeal to the Division Bench and Review Petition were also dismissed, they could take up the matter with Chairman  and get order implemented at the earliest.

Wisdom may prevail.
