Why GNS gets disturbed !

Dear LIC Pensioners Friends,

This is with reference to Shri GN Sridharan's statement on Delhi High Court developments. The basic question before all of us is that Supreme court transferred writ petitions from three sets of litigants at three different high courts namely Jaipur, Chandigarh and Delhi to Delhi High Court  with a direction to decide this issue afresh before 31st August, 2016.

Supreme court also allowed two impleadment applications pending before them from Hyderabad Association and AIRIEF. In compliance of supreme court directive only, Hyderabad Association had  filed its writ petition before Delhi High Court which stands already taken on board on June 1st with a notice to LIC to file its counter within three weeks.

Now when AIIPA also decided to enter legal battle and applied for permission of Delhi High Court through their impleadment application they were also given a nod to file the writ petition before Delhi High Court.

Now it is quite clear that entry of two new players in legal battle means Hyderabad Association and AIIPA is with prior approval of either Supreme court or Delhi High Court.  Under such situation why Shri GNS should feel disturbed.

More interesting is that GNS is not at all disturbed due to entry of AIIPA but he is highly disturbed due to entry of Hyderabad Association. Why is he so afraid of Hyderabad Association, only God knows.

Fear of GNS that entry of Hyderabad Association may cause delay in conclusion of legal battle is totally unfounded and baseless since 31st August dead line is already fixed by Supreme court.

When two new players have already entered Delhi High Court legal battle why GNS is afraid of only one player and not about the second one. Will Shri Sridharan explain to us his reasons.

Regards
BR Mehta
