To edit or not to edit is the question

9 Jun 16, 07:31 AM

fakru_refai: Mr. Lakshminarayanan has kept alive the issue which Lohia was writing about. I can understand the compulsion of Lakshminarayanan to write something but it is not the whole truth.

To my knowledge IR was available to persons who were prepared to fill in a membership form and submit the same with a token donation of Rs.1000/-. Atleast I saw two persons writing through blogs - Shri SR Aggarwal and Shri P Ramanathan - they said, to their surprise, they received some credits in their bank accounts without their knowledge, yet Shri Lakshminarayanan did not find it necessary to come out with his explanations then. Now he wants the allegations raised in Chat Column should be edited. This is a strange argument. Here editing is demanded to see truth doesnt come out.

What is required is not editing but timely statements explaining to the pensioners what the Federation has to say in this respect. LIC was trying to verify Sridharan's membership books but a bolt came from the blue. In response to Hyderabad petition, supreme court ordered payment with a time limit. LIC could not go ahead and this is how GNS federation was able to distribute IR to persons of his selection. When this is the fact, Shri Lakshminarayan's ire will be simply laughed at by persons who know the truth and who want to share the experience.
