The article of Shri CS Murthy on Why the Increase in Sum Insured for the Family Floater Policy is very revealing and thought provoking.
A doubt has now arisen if the LIC Employees/Pensioners are taken for a ride by the New India Insurance to achieve their Premium Income Targets. It is a sad state of affairs for LIC to play in the hands of the General Insurer simply neglecting the interest of their own employees/ pensioners. The matter requires an urgent rethinking by the CO before giving any commitment to the New India Company.
