CHANDIGARH CASE ADJOURNED TO 27-01-2016

Our case was taken up by Justice Rakesh Kumar Jain at chandigarh high court today.

Our advocate told that as per supreme court order dated 4th December in response to our IA we are in a position to withdraw the amount as per the corporation's computations, which is Rs 33.67 lacs. A copy of supreme court order dated 4th December was passed on to Judge by our advocate.

LIC counsel intervened and insisted that they have no objection if we withdraw 20 % of amount deposited. There were exchange of arguments from both sides and Judge went through all the records from the beginning including his own original judgement dated 9th November 2012 and questioned LIC counsel how the Corporation has calculated the money deposited by them. His response being evasive, Judge directed that they should file an affidavit explaining how they have calculated and adjourned the case to 27th January 2016.
