B Ganga Raju: Shri Subbu's comments make interesting reading. Pensioners are divided by LIC depending on their dates of retirement. So Subbu speaks of diverse interests and associations This reminds me of the situation in 1970s when LIC employees got divided on account of promotion policy: 1965 automatic promotions, Section Heads' forum, Qualified but unpromoted employees' forum, HGAs Association, Stenos Association, etc. etc.
Management and Government divide. We have to unite, multiply our strength and fight.We now have 2 issues..Pre and Post 1997, Updation. If our pensioners' associations play their cards well our interests would be safe.
