JM Aboobucker: It is heartening to know at least one of the many LIC serving employees unions has taken some interest in the Welfare of the Pensioners of LIC by writing to the Chairman highlighting the issues which needs resolution by the Management. Thank you NOIP for your concern of the demands of the 40000 LIC Pensioners.
The Management which has
YOGAKSHEMAM VAHAAMYAHAMas its lofty motto should try to live upto it by solving at least the non-litigation matters like 1. 50% of last pay drawn to be taken for reckoning Pension 2.30% of the last pay drawn to be taken for reckoning the Family Pension which are in vogue in the Central Govt and RBI for their Pensioners and earn the Goodwill of the Erstwhile employees who have now become Pensioners. The monetary outlay for extending these benefits will a pittance for the Giant Financial Institution. All that is required is only a benevolent and helpful attitude on the part of the Management. Will it be too much to expect this from our Chairman?
