JM Aboobucker: The Pay Commission always tries to bring Down the gap between the highest and lowest paid employees., like 1 : 10 to be brought to 1 : 6. Why is it attempted. what is the need? Only to bring down the gap between the top to bottom, to bring about socialism and an Egalitarian Society.
In the same way the the demand of the pensioners for parity or about - parity in the pension of the pensioners who held same rank/post in an institution should get same or about-same pension irrespective of date of retirement which will ensure better living conditions for the Senior Citizens. The prosperity of the institution should benefit and flow to all employees, current and former.
