JM Aboobucker: The implication of the SC Order is that whatever amount is payable on the basis of the IMPUGNED JUDGMENT, as per calculations of LIC has to be paid to the petitioners within 2 weeks from today.Lest LIC Would be liable for CONTEMPT OF COURT.
As the SC order is very specific about the Contempt Charges now LIC is in a fix and its careless and callous attitude will have to be wound up and rush to make the payments to the petitioners within 2 weeks somehow or other to save its skin.
