20 percent arrears payment

I am one of the pre 8/97 retirees from Bangalore division -1 and yet to get my arrears payment as the D.O. Has sought for some clarification from C.O.

As verified from the arrears payment received by my pensioner friends, it is observed that L.I.C
Have added 148 slabs of D.A.to the existing basic pension and arrived at revised basic as on 8/97 for purposes of making arrears payment. Revised D.A. Has been arrived at @ .23./. Of the revised basic pension. No up-gradation of pension. Arrears payment covers the period
From 8/97 to 8/2015. Example:-
It is evident from the above that L.I.C. have not paid at the full slab rates where as in-service
Employees were getting D.A. At full rates. If ,D.A. Is paid at full slab rates, the retirees would
Get increased arrears, even without adding D.A.-of 148 slabs to the existing basic pension ie.,
(Without revising the basic pensio n and D.A.) The case managers should bring this to the
Notice of S.C on 23-9-2015.

From the day S.C.order was passed on 7-5-2015, many of our post 8/97 friends have commented that pre8/97 retirees are the beneficiaries where as post 8/97 retirees have got
No benifit. Now. Pre 8/97 retirees are getting apart of the full benefit which the 8/97 have been enjoying from the dates of their retirement till date. When no up gradation of pension has been granted to pre 8/97 retirees they are on par with post 8/97 retirees. Let our friends stop making un-healthy comments and try ing to split the entire retirees group. Please put in efforts to see
That necessary steps are taken to ensure justice to each and every retiree, without bias.
Also , I am sure SN has not erred in his task and he is a tactician as rightly said by G.krishna
Prasad.
