LATEST SUPREME COURT ORDER IN CIVIL CONTEMPT PETITION

Supreme Court has passed the order "ISSUE NOTICE" 


on 19th April 2012 in the case of the Civil Contempt Petition 


filed in connection with Special Leave Petition alleging that certain 


orders of the Court have not been complied with by the Life 


Insurance Corporation of India.

REVISED MEDI-CLAIM PREMIUM FOR 2012-13

Medi-claim premium payable for the year 2012-13 has been revised.  Accordingly all our pensioners contributing medi-claim premium will be eligible for refund of excess amount paid by them.

LATEST DEVELOPMENTS IN SUPREME COURT.


Civil Contempt Petition filed by Shri Ashthana was taken up for preliminary hearing today (19-4-2012).  

LIC was represented by their Panel Advocate.

Shri Ashthana was represented by Senior Advocate.

Supreme Court has ordered to issue notice to Life Insurance Corporation of India. 

Order of Supreme Court will be available soon.

CONTEMPT PETITION PENDING IN RAJASTHAN HIGH COURT

Contempt Petition pending before Rajasthan High Court came up

for orders before the newly constituted single judge Bench of

Mr. Justice Rathore.  The Petitioner Shri Asthana was advised

to wait till the matter is decided by the Supreme Court. 

An order to this effect is expected shortly from the Court.
